The purpose of this report is to provide a concise summary of key findings and lessons learned from AIDS 2010 for those working in HIV and related fields.
Focus is on new advances that are likely to have a significant impact on the global response to AIDS in the months and years to come. Highlights within each of the three conference programme areas – Science, Leadership and Accountability, and Community – and for the key topic of universal access and global HIV financing are presented, along with an analysis of the implications of conference outcomes on HIV practice, policy and research.
