The main purpose of this publication is to give visibility to various problems associated with the existing lack of or insuffi cient access to health care for undocumented migrants residing in Europe.
This report gives visibility to the problems arising from undocumented migrantsâ inadequate access to health care in the European Union. The situation in terms of law and practice is provided through eleven country profi les; each presenting an overview of the most common problems and obstacles preventing a realization of the right to health. The work of civil society organizations in providing assistance to undocumented migrants is illustrated, with good policies and practices highlighted to provide inspiration for future strategies and actions.
